MEDITERRANEAN VS PALEO DIET

Some say that Paleo diet is a natural diet for modern people. This is absurd! If modern people follow a Paleo diet full in animal products, they will suffer from cancer, heart disease, inflammation and other degenerative diseases. Meat is full of toxins, hormones, antibiotics etc.
Several studies have shown that people who follow a Mediterranean or vegetarian diet have decrease incidence of cancer, heart disease, stroke, blood pressure and other degenerative diseases.
High protein diets are dangerous for health.
The basis of our diets should be grains. The diet of all the people who enjoyed longevity was based on grains, vegetables, and fruits. Cretans of Greece eat a lot of bread from wheat and barley, Okinawa eats a lot of rice (and white rice), and Hunza were vegetarians.
Paleo diet is low in calcium and may contribute in osteoporosis.
Eat like Cretans who had longevity and low incidence of heart disease. Their diets based on grains, legumes, dairy products, olive oil, and they used to eat meat very rare.

I am the best proof that grains are not the reason for weight gain. I follow a diet that is 60% of grains (wheat and rice), 20% of vegetables and fruits, 10% of fats (olive oil) and 10% of proteins (especially dairy products and nuts, and very rare meat and fish). I give this diet to many people and they lose weight. I don't also use food supplements. If someone eats this kind of diet, does not meed supplements. People have lived thousands years eating foods not supplements!
